Artful Displays

Don't think art is just in a frame on your wall or a sculpture that is tastefully on a column in your living room.

You can use many things to create art in your rooms. One fun way is great for the person who has a room that features a lot of light and you can use living plants that crawl randomly up a trellis. The trellis is made out of wrought iron with stained glass in an Art Deco type of design. A lovely ivy that will stay green all throughout the year or add in some moon flowers that bloom after sundown for a delicate display.

Another way is to add delicate pieces around your room on ornate shelves. You can add a small shelf or two to create an air of balance in your decor. On the shelves add small art pieces such as scroll worked frames with favorite photos or small miniature paintings. Delicate hand made sculptures or if you enjoy collection small items such as figurines, you can use them on shelving as well to get an artful flow going through your room.

When you look around your room, your art pieces should flow easily. From shelves to walls to other pieces; you can add a piece or two every week and in this way slowly up the art factor in your room without breaking your bank account.
