Catch Your Customer's Eye with Cool Shelving

If you have a retail store, you know first and foremost, it's how you present your wares. If you simply clutter things up, people probably won't give your items a second look.

One way that is tried and true is to display your items on some eye-catching shelving. One good selling tip you can use is to put items you want to move at eye level. Put higher priced items on higher shelves as those are the items people tend to see first. If you're having a sale on an item, move it to eye level and watch it move out the door.

Put items that you have a good stock of or lower priced on lower shelves. Instead of cluttering your shelves, use several shelves to display your items. There should be a hand's width between items to make it easy for potential customers to put items back when they pick them up have a look. This will keep your items looking pristine and will protect your items from accidental breakage or worse multiple pieces being broken when someone gets a little clumsy putting an item back.

It also makes it easy to take inventory of your items when you keep track of every item on your shelf - you can easily compare your sales record to the items out in stock on the shelves and you can tell if you have had the unfortunate incident of having an item shoplifted.

Make shopping easier for your customers and use shelving to display your items!

Picasso Drapery Accent Rod

Looking to add a little jazz to your room? Start by picking up the pace with your window treatments. Many people just hang their curtains, hope the colors coordinate with the rest of the room and say that is that.

You can add so much to your decor by not only using complimentary colors with your draperies, you can also raise the interest level in your decor by adding finishing touches around your window treatments like corbels and a pretty valance will draw attention to your draperies and also bring an air of elegance to your entire interior design.

The best thing about using a designer drapery rod is that you are not limited to using it with your draperies. You can use an artful piece like the Picasso Drapery Accent Rod over your bed, over a wall space to highlight a piece of artwork or behind a sculpture or even use a pair to highlight a sliding glass doorway.

Think of your curtain rod as not just a place to hang your curtains but as something that can be used to highlight something in a room or draw attention to a particular feature. The Picasso rod comes in to widths, 35 inches and 60 inches to fit any size space you want to decorate. Get a pair and give your room an aura of balance throughout your decor. You can also make a small room appear bigger by placing a pair of the 35 inch rods on each side of a mirror with a sheer curtain draping on each side. This will make your room appear bigger and highlight mirror, drawing the eye to it. The eye will see the room as bigger and your illusion is complete!
