Do you have a room that seems jumbled or just out and out makes you nervous? It could be that your room simply needs pulling together.
Many people fall in love with a particular style such as French Country and then get halfway through decorating their room and either loose interest in it or switch styles. The result is a very confusing room. It will have a slightly cozy feel but also a very unfinished feel that isn't comfortable to anyone.
First of all, decide what kind of look you want for your room. If you really want that French Country, go for it. If your tastes have changed to something Art Deco or you just want to make a room that is uniquely "you" - that will be easy to attain as well.

They should carry the colors used in your room. Then consider investing in something like an entertainment unit or a armoire to hold your television and stereo equipment. Candles can add a decidedly soft flair to a room. If you want to use candles to add light, consider a

For a personal touch, add collections of your favorite family or vacation photos. Also, if you have a whimsical or quirky artwork, don't be afraid to add it. Remember, the room you're designing should have a stamp of your personal style on it.

You can spend thousands upon thousands of dollars decorating your room and it won't matter a hill of beans if you don't add good accents. The accents that you choose for your decor will greatly depend on the mood you're trying to reflect within the room.

If it's impact you want, put a striking accent in the room in a central focal point. It doesn't have to be dead center on a pedestal in the middle of a room, but an eye catching statue
like a ring dancer, tall regal plant or a fragment piece of stone artwork will go a long way to making a stunning statement in your decor.
